PostCard Series| Dusk and Sunset in Mainit Lake

Mainit Lake

“Dusk is just an illusion because the sun is either above the horizon or below it. And that means that day and night are linked in a way that few things are there cannot be one without the other yet they cannot exist at the same time. How would it feel I remember wondering to be always together yet forever apart?”
― Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook

Mainit Lake

“Twilight fell: The sky turned to a light, dusky purple littered with tiny silver stars.”
― J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

  16. Nature always gives the best of its setting, of its aesthetic value to the beholder's eyes. Yours is a good take. It is worth a thousand words, so to speak.

  19. The quotes cap the it all..
But even without them, thse shots are breathtaking..
I thought of a rebuttal to Mr Nicholas Sparks about the dusk being an illusion, but then he gave a poetic reason why it is so.. Icant refute that.
Maybe we should appreciate the hottest place on earth, the Sahara dessert, with the dust particles that is scattered in the atmosphere because of it..
Its the one responsible why we have such colorful sunsets.
