December 17, 2011| Starbucks at SM City Cebu enjoying free wi-fi while waiting for colleagues who are busy shopping for exchange gifts.
Still waiting for more than one hour. After finishing regular size Starbucks cold coffee drink, I transfer to Gelatissimo stall and tried one of their "Gelato ice creams."
7:45 PM SM City Cebu| While in the long line @ the "Taxi Lane"- I found myself taking photographs of the newly-opened Radisson Blue Hotel.

January 07, 2012| While roaming around SM City Cebu. Got the chance to take photographs of Christmas Village of Hope and "Una."
"UNA" is the first car in the world manufactured using indigenous materials exclusive to Cebu patterned from the 1959 Porche 356. Designed and manufactured by Clayton Tugonon, the exterior is purely made from coconut flower's stalk and rattan stripes. The dashboard comes from a blend of two-toned shells while the steering wheels and the knob are made from Shagreen. It was one of the highlights @ the 2011 famous exhibit in Manila to showcase what Cebu can do.- NORTHWING SM City Cebu

I have been in Cebu last year. It's not that different from Metro Manila. I stayed at Crowne Regency and spent a few days roaming around the city. I love lechon cebu. I remember we waited in a long line in SM to buy lechon. We were able to buy but they don't have rice anymore. I think they call their rice "puso".
ReplyDeletepuso' nga Kc jejeje, the best lechon in Cebu is in Carcar and tabunok(for me)been staying here for almost 3 years and feels like it's my home:)
ReplyDeleteYou've got a wonderful chronology of events enhanced with candid and vivid pictures. Cebu is a place I always frequent every time I'm selected to attend a job-related seminar-workshop. I love Cebu, especially at night.

How was the Gelatissimo special ice cream? There was so much hype about it awhile back. Is it really that good? Also, my interest in piqued by the UNA exhibit. ReplyDeleteI've been to Cebu so long ago.. Nung time na Di pa Uso ang digital camera... Hehe ;-) I have a few photos Lang tuloy , I have to scan pa! Hope to go there again very soon! Nakakagutom naman food trips mo... Walang nang Gerry's grill dito sa subic.. Miss ko na tuloy... Yummy!

i've been to Cebu many times, and the people are very nice talaga.. they are also very creative.. When I become rich, i will buy that car on your photo, for my house.. as a center attraction :)
