Photographs of my first journey to the province of "Warays" - Samar!
This trip was not planned since my original flight ticket is Manila to Cebu. Long story to tell... leads me to re-routing of my flight to Manila-Tacloban. Then, I've said "Why not to make this unplanned/unexpected moment a memorable one!"
After arriving at Tacloban Domestic Airport via PAL flight, Morion found himself exploring the beautiful province of Samar!

ReplyDeletenever been to Samar but had always dreamed of visiting the place since I was a kid. now aside from the rock fornations, they have amazing caves daw out there. I love this post you captured how that fishing village well.

ReplyDeleteBeen to Samar and Leyte once. Such a nice place but there were parts na madumi. Pero mababait nga ang tao. That big sawa scared me. Takot ako sa ahas talaga. Hahaha.

ReplyDeleteWhat a Trip!! i love tahong especially the fresh ones. I remember my dad used to make kilaw and it was uber delicious with sinangag rice. And hey, they will eat that long SAWA??? I can die now! O_O
ReplyDeleteSometimes our planned trip is diverted for some reasons which we don't know. And that opportunity is usually a unique one, even considered as the most unforgettable expedition for that matter.
ReplyDeleteWhose credit is that? Of course, the One who is always guiding us in everyday we do. He doesn't want us to lead astray and be led by the Son of Perdition.
Our sojourn here is only made meaningful when we're intuned with the light of Crhist, which is our conscience. If we follow it, surely goodness and mercy will bring us the happiness we are longing for the rest of our life.
In so doing, therefore, we do as He please and according to His will.
Samar, though I've not been there, is a good place to visit and to get to know the inhabitants culture and traditions.
By the way, what I pity to the snake. It should be spared and be brought back to its place of abode. It also deserves to live. It is caught by a fisherman, for it swallowed a live chicken. Well, that is its instinct and the nature to survive.
