Best known as one of the top dining options
in Baguio City, Le Chef Restaurant at the Manor is a fantastic place to dine
while visiting the country’s Summer Capital. Set within Camp John Hay, the
restaurant features a log cabin atmosphere but serves a wide range of gourmet
dishes to ignite your palate.
Open throughout the day, diners get to
enjoy an eclectic mix of mouthwatering cuisines, with local and international
favorites offered. Filipino favorites like Bangus Belly with Spicy Laing,
Chicken Inasal, Beef Steak Tagalog, Bihon or Canton Guisado, and a wide range
of Sinigang dishes are served at Le Chef Restaurant.
There are also burgers and green salads.
The restaurant is also known for its prime
steaks. Top choices are Steak and Prawn, Peppered U.S. Tenderloin, and Aged
U.S. Prime Rib-Eye. Diners should also try their delicious Pan-fried Chilean
Sea Bass, Baked Baby Lamb Rack Herb de Provence, and Chicken Cordon Bleu. Those
who wish to sample delightful Asian specialties should try the Malaysian Goat
Curry, Char-grilled Baby Back Ribs, or Peppered Bangus Belly.
When dining at Le Chef Restaurant at the
Manor, it could really be a difficult task to choose what to eat – there simply
are too many mouthwatering gourmet dishes offered on the menu to settle for just
one. But if you are really looking forward to eating something not readily
available in other restaurants, you could always pick their lamb dishes:
there’s Lamb Shank Pinot Noir and Marinated Lamb Cutlet.
