TRIVIA| Koi are ornamental domesticated varieties of the common carp (Cyprinus carpio) that are kept for decorative purposes in outdoor ponds or water gardens. Scientists believed that Koi are among the longest-living vertebrates, with some animals living over 200 years. The most popular category of koi is the Gosanke, which is made up of the Kohaku, Taisho Sanshoku, and Showa Sanshoku varieties.

ReplyDeletewow ,these fish looks like overpopulated.They all fighting for the food the visitors were throwing at them. it is a good sight,makes you wonder how fast they multiply and grow.
ReplyDeleteWow! I've always wanted to go to Nuvali and feed the Koi's there. Beautiful creatures! especially when they're in one area as if they're a painting of some sort :D

Do they proagate that quickly? I wonder how the population is managed, if it is managed at all! Pretty neat though to see that many KOI in one area.
ReplyDeleteThey do propagate quickly. And yes, this pond looks overly populated. Some do need to be moved.
